Let me know how it is. I just finished Dry by Augusten Burroughs. The first time I read it, I was toying with the idea that I had a drinking problem, but I used the book as a comparison. I don’t have a problem, I don’t have 300 empty bottles in my house.
This time, I said, yup, I could be the same if I kept going.
I read that book years ago and thought the same thing.
This book is funny so easy to read. It talks about her history with drinking and then ends each chapter with a relapse fantasy. “Living Sober Sucks” is a good one I have on audiobook but I hate how he seems to defend his unsupportive wife all the time. I think he also has a website.
